Tour Details

Snorkel the Red Sea's Coral Reefs with Your Own Guide and Boat

Ras Mohamed National Park sits at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, where the Gulf of Suez meets the Gulf of Aqaba, about 25 kilometers from Sharm El Sheikh.

A Ras Mohamed snorkeling tour by boat is one of the few ways to reach the park's southern reefs without a diving certification, and this private version cruises you there directly, anchoring at three separate snorkeling stops inside the reserve.

You'll spend the day in the water among coral gardens that shelter over 1,000 recorded fish species, with time on the sundeck between stops if you'd rather sit back and watch the coastline pass by.

Your guide and boat are reserved for your group only, so the pace of the day is set around who's actually on board: more time in the water if that's what everyone wants, more time relaxing if it isn't. No diving license is needed to join. Snorkeling gear is included for everyone, and an introductory dive with a certified instructor is available at one of the sites for anyone who wants to go deeper. A buffet lunch and soft drinks are served on deck between stops, and hotel pickup and drop-off in Sharm El Sheikh are included both ways.

Compared with other Sharm El Sheikh day tours, this is one of the more relaxed ways to see Ras Mohamed's marine life without committing to a full dive package. Below is how the day runs, stop by stop. If you'd like to adjust timing, add the introductory dive, or check available dates, message us on WhatsApp

Itinerary

Day

Sharm El Sheikh to Ras Mohamed National Park by Boat

Your Aten Tours representative picks you up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh early in the morning and transfers you to the marina, where you board your private boat reserved for your group only for the crossing to Ras Mohamed National Park.

The boat anchors at three separate snorkeling spots inside the park, each roughly 30–45 minutes long, giving you time to swim among the coral at your own pace rather than on a shared group's schedule. Guests who want to go further can join an introductory dive with a certified instructor at one of the stops; everyone else can stay on the sundeck between swims and take in the views across the Red Sea.

Between snorkeling stops, guests are served a spread of hot and cold dishes along with soft drinks, all included in the price. Once the last snorkeling stop wraps up, the boat sails back to the marina, and you're transferred to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.

Meals: Lunch aboard the boat.

Notes

Wear a swimsuit under your clothes and bring a change of clothes for after snorkeling. Reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses are strongly recommended — there's little shade on deck for most of the day. Bring your own towel unless you've confirmed one is provided.

Basic swimming ability is recommended for the snorkeling stops; life jackets are available for anyone who wants one, including non-swimmers who'd rather float and observe from the surface. The introductory dive is open to beginners and is led by a certified instructor but isn't recommended for guests with certain heart or lung conditions check with us in advance if this applies to you.

Boarding the boat involves a step from the dock or a short ladder; let us know in advance if anyone in your group needs assistance getting on board.

The exact route and snorkeling stops may be adjusted on the day depending on sea conditions, at the captain's discretion, to keep the trip safe and enjoyable.

Flagged for your confirmation — not included above since I don't have the specifics: minimum age/child policy, exact cancellation and weather-related rescheduling policy, and whether towels are provided.
