Your Egyptologist explains how the design and scale changed across the three generations of kings who built them. Then you’ll visit Khafre’s Valley Temple, traditionally believed to have been used for purification rituals on the king’s body before burial, and the Great Sphinx beside it.

Physical Requirements: All three sites involve walking on uneven, sandy ground under direct sun, with little natural shade. Entering the interior of the Great Pyramid, the Step Pyramid, or the Serapeum at Saqqara means bending through low, narrow passages and is optional and ticketed separately from the main tour. Comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, and water are recommended, especially between April and September.
