Welcome Drink

Day2

Giza Pyramids, Saqqara, Memphis

After enjoying your first buffet breakfast at the hotel, continue your Honeymoon Vacation with an unforgettable day exploring Egypt's most iconic attractions, creating romantic memories that will last a lifetime. you will be welcomed by your certified tour guide to begin your Cairo day by visiting the Giza Pyramids area. This Giza Pyramids tour should leave you curious in the best way, about the ancient Egyptian era, and your personal guide will try his utmost to answer every one of your questions during the visit, while you’re standing really close to the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, the 146 meters high monument that was made in the Old Kingdom, specifically the 4th dynasty, by one of the most remarkable pharaohs of ancient Egypt. King Cheops (Khufu) was the son of Snefru, who is also credited with 4 striking pyramids, and Cheops was the father of Chephren who shaped the middle pyramid at Giza and still keeps the outer stones in place at the upper side. Chephren then became the grandfather of Mycerinus, who has the smallest yet still not less important pyramid, which you can spot from the plateau . After that, you may enjoy an optional camel ride in the Giza Pyramids area, just to experience the majesty of this epic place , the land of the pharaohs.

Then you will go down to the Valley Temple of King Chephren, where his royal remains were prepared and kept, so they could serve him in the afterlife, and you will also see the Sphinx, that huge statue of a man-headed lion that symbolizes strength, and a sort of sharp mind, because it was carved in the shape you see today .

Move on now to the necropolis of Saqqara, which is around 200 years older than the Giza Necropolis. Here you will find the Step Pyramid complex of King Djoser from the 3rd dynasty, along with the Pyramid of King Teti who governed during the 6th dynasty, right before the 1st intermediate period began. Discover the subtle beauty of ancient Egyptian art when you enter one of the nobles’ tombs, especially the tomb of Kagemni, the vizier connected with justice, and the son-in-law of King Teti.

Now we will move to the place where the most ancient capital of Egypt used to be, it is now known as Mit Rahina and is basically considered an open-air museum. There are a lot of interesting artifacts there, that date back to different epochs of ancient Egyptian history, from the old kingdom , through the middle kingdom, and then also the new kingdom. Take a look at the alabaster sphinx of Memphis , it is the second biggest among all the sphinxes in Egypt. Also don’t miss the gigantic statue of Ramses II, one of the most important kings, during the 18th dynasty.

Enjoy your lunch on our way back to the hotel, and then overnight in Cairo.

Day3

Islamic Cairo , Coptic Cairo, Egyptian Museum

Today, right after you finish your yummy breakfast at the hotel, you will be met by your tour guide and then you start a wonderful Cairo city tour, first thing you’ll do is visit Islamic Cairo trips, especially the Cairo Citadel.

You’ll walk through the Medieval fortification of Cairo, Saladin Citadel. It was built by Sultan Saladin during the 12th century, the goal was to protect Cairo from likely risks and threats of that era. Saladin recruited mercenaries for the Egyptian army, but, honestly, they rose too fast power, wealth, and popular backing followed them, and that situation continued until Mohamed Ali Pasha came and removed them in a very well known massacre, which people often call the Citadel Massacre.

And since we’re talking about Mohamed Ali, inside the citadel you’ll find his magnificent alabaster mosque. It’s considered one of the highest points in Cairo, so if the sky is clear you can actually catch views toward the Giza Pyramids.

Now move to Old Cairo, to begin the Coptic Cairo tour. Here you will see some of the earliest Christian churches in the history of Christianity. The holy family visited Egypt during their escape from King Herod, and this region is believed to be one of the places they stayed in for almost 3-4 months, according to historians. They took shelter in a crypt, later a church was built on top of it, and today it’s known as the Church of Abu Serga. You’ll also visit the Hanging Church, which was constructed above two towers from the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon.

At the end of your Coptic tours in Cairo, you will go into the Synagogue of Ben Ezra, one of the oldest Jewish synagogues in the Middle East.

Enjoy your gourmet lunch, before you head to the market of Khan El Khalili in the Al Hussein area, right in downtown Cairo. Al Hussein was the grandson of the Prophet of Islam, Mohamed (PBUH) and this district feels packed with ancient mosques dating back to the 9th century, plus a lot of mausoleums for the Prophet Mohamed’s companions and family members. Enjoy your Cairo walking tour as you drift through the narrow lanes, of Cairo, and try a refreshing tea-mint drink. Then you will be moved back to your hotel, and overnight.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day4

Red Sea El Ain Sokhna Overnight from Cairo

Today we’ll be heading to the Red Sea Ain Sokhna right after checking out from the hotel, it’s around 1 hour 30 minutes driving, then we reach the resort and well, it’s just a pleasant time either relaxing by the beach or jumping in the pool. Buffet lunch will be served at 3:00 PM, and dinner too before the night show starts.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day5

Porto Sokhna Cable Car, back to Cairo and End of Service

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and start the adventure without delay. We’ll drive to the well known resort Porto Sokhna for about 30 minutes, then take the Cable Car (Teleferik) up Galala Mountain. While you’re up there, you’ll enjoy a seafood lunch in a stylish restaurant, with a view over the Red Sea and the mountain scenery. Then roam around the resort mall, grab amazing photos along the seaside, and once you’re done, hop back in your vehicle to Cairo.
