On this tour, you'll visit the city of Memphis in Cairo which was once the largest cities of Ancient Egypt located in Lower Egypt. Memphis was known as the city of a hundred doors or the White Walls. This name was derived from the wall that enclosed the city. You'll have the chance to explore the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization to get acquainted with Egypt's rich culture and heritage through the many exhibits. In addition, you'll visit Ismailia. Suez Canal is an artificial water passage connecting the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea.
Then, you'll be taken to Alexandria to explore different destinations including Kom Ash Shoqafa, Pompey Pillar, Bibliotheca Alexandria, Citadel of Qaitbay, and Sidi Morsi Abu al-Abbas Mosque. Besides, you'll visit the city of Alamein. This is mainly a historical destination with several museums, memorials, and cemeteries.
When you reach the Cairo international airport, you will be greeted by an English-speaking guide from Aten Tours who will help you in all your arrangements and will drop you off to your hotel in an air-conditioned car for check-in and overnight stay. After enjoying your breakfast at your hotel, your guide will take you to the Giza Necropolis to visit the three pyramids, the valley temple of King Khufu and the Memphis city.
In addition to that, you will have the chance to have an authentic lunch in a nearby restaurant before visiting Memphis.
after enjoying your lunch in one of the high quality restaurants and transferring to Memphis, now known as Mit Rahina to see the open air museum with its wonderful collection of artifacts including the famous alabaster sphinx of Memphis and the gigantic statue of Ramses II, the pharaoh from the new kingdom who built the marvelous Abu Simbel temples in Aswan.

Start off your day with breakfast at the hotel followed by the arrival of your licensed guide to head to the first point of interest in your group tour around Egypt – the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC). The only museum of its kind in Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East, the NMEC is a place that displays the rich heritage of Egypt from prehistoric ages to modern days. This includes such interesting places as the Royal Mummies Hall, where you can see the mummies of such famous rulers as Ramses II and Hatshepsut.
After visiting the museum, you will proceed to the Ismailia Governorate to see the Suez Canal. Found along the canal, on the eastern side of Egypt, the city of Ismailia gives a perfect place to observe the passage of ships along this famous water route.
At the Suez Canal, you will witness ships passing through while your guide shares fascinating facts about the canal's construction. You will then have a delicious lunch to finish off the tour.

From there, you will be transferred from Cairo pyramids hotel to Alexandria, covering a distance of 220 kilometers.
Your first stop will be Kom El-Catacomb and Shoqafa's three-tiered tomb complex, which also has the Tri-cilium, where earlier family members would sit on stone benches to honor the deceased. There are also Roman era (second century) statues of Sobec and Anubis wearing armor.
From there, we will proceed to Pompey's Pillar, the highest pillar in Egypt. It was erected by the residents of Alexandria as a sign of gratitude to the Roman Emperor Diocletian who had diverted a portion of the annual tribute of corn and grain that Egypt used to give Rome.
From there, you will have a walk around El Mursi Abu Elabas, Qaytbay Citadel, and Alexandria library along the Cornish. After this, you will have lunch made of sea food before proceeding to Paradise Inn hotel.

El Alamein is well known for its history, and there are a number of memorials, museums and cemeteries that were built in order to pay tribute to the battles that took place in El Alamein. The El Alamein War Museum is one of the most interesting places to visit and has numerous displays of artifacts, pictures and stories regarding the wars in this location.
Apart from the historical attractions, El Alamein is known for its beautiful seaside scenery, which features beaches and resorts that are ideal for relaxation and leisure activities. Therefore, no matter how interested you are in history, El Alamein is an amazing place to explore.
