Cairo comes first, over two full days: the pyramids, the Sphinx, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and the older churches of Coptic Cairo before an afternoon at Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
A short flight then puts you in Luxor for two days across both banks of the Nile—Luxor Temple and Karnak on the East Bank, and the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut on the West. From the Valley Temple, where ancient Egyptians once carried out mummification rituals, continue to the Great Sphinx, with an optional camel ride around the plateau if you want it. After lunch, the Grand Egyptian Museum holds Tutankhamun's golden mask and coffin among more than 100,000 artifacts, followed by Coptic Cairo: the Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue.
The day closes at Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Cairo's oldest market, before your driver takes you back to the hotel.

After breakfast, your Egyptologist guide takes you across to Luxor's West Bank, starting at the Valley of the Kings, where more than 60 decorated tombs of New Kingdom pharaohs are cut into the rock, including Tutankhamun's.

Itinerary Changes: Site visiting hours and entry procedures in Egypt can change with little notice, especially at government-run sites like the Valley of the Kings and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Your guide will always confirm the day's plan the evening before, and any changes are made to keep the same sites in the itinerary, not remove them.
Hotel Check-in and Check-out: Standard check-in is from 2:00 to 3:00 PM and check-out by 12:00 PM, per each hotel's own policy. Early check-in or late check-out isn't guaranteed and depends on room availability on the day.
