Your 8-Day Classic Egypt Tour Cairo-Luxor-Aswan will start at Cairo International Airport, where your English-speaking tour guide will meet you upon arrival with a sign showing your name. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Cairo. After check-in, your tour guide will give you a quick overview of your 8-day tour program and confirm the departure times for each day.

After breakfast your private guide will meet you at the hotel to begin your 8-Day Cairo Luxor Aswan Classic Tour with a visit to the fantastic Giza Plateau, home to the renowned Pyramids of Giza. Explore the three pyramids built for kings Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, learn about their construction, and hear fascinating stories about the rulers of ancient Egypt. You will also see the Great Sphinx, with its lion’s body and king’s head, which has long stood as the protector of the plateau.

Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, the world's largest archaeological museum dedicated to a single civilization, just minutes from the Pyramids. Explore colossal statues, royal treasures, sarcophagi, jewelry, and the complete Tutankhamun collection displayed together for the first time, while your guide brings the highlights of ancient Egyptian history to life.

Enjoy lunch at an authentic local restaurant before driving in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to Old Cairo. Explore the historic district and its important religious landmarks, including the Hanging Church, the Church of Abu Serga, which is believed to have sheltered the Holy Family, and Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of the oldest Jewish sites in Cairo.

Finally enjoy a stroll through the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, a fascinating covered market filled with spices, handicrafts, jewelry, souvenirs, and local treasures. After your tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

After breakfast, check out of your Giza hotel and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your domestic flight to Luxor. On arrival, our representative will meet you and take you to your 5-star Nile cruise ship, where your journey along the river from Luxor to Aswan begins.

Enjoy lunch on board once you have settled in. Then set out to explore Luxor’s East Bank, starting with the vast Karnak Temple, where you can walk among enormous columns, towering obelisks, and sacred halls. Next, visit Luxor Temple, a masterpiece of ancient architecture built mainly by King Amenhotep III and later expanded by other pharaohs, with colossal statues, spacious courts, and finely carved reliefs. Afterward, return to the ship to relax and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner.

Have breakfast on board, then cross to Luxor’s West Bank with your guide. Your first stop is the Colossi of Memnon, two giant statues that have guarded the plain for more than 3,000 years. Then enter the Valley of the Kings, the burial place of the great pharaohs, and finish at the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, set dramatically against the cliffs.

Return to the ship for lunch as it casts off and sails toward Edfu. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the sun deck and watching the Nile countryside glide past.

After breakfast on board, continue your Egypt Classic Tour Cairo-Luxor-Aswan by sailing to Kom Ombo. Explore the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris, before continuing to Edfu to visit its magnificent and well-preserved temple.

After breakfast on board, set out to discover Aswan’s main landmarks. Begin at the island Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis and reached by a short boat ride across the water. Then visit the High Dam, a symbol of modern Egyptian engineering that tamed the Nile and created Lake Nasser. Finish at the Unfinished Obelisk, traditionally linked to Queen Hatshepsut, which still lies in its granite quarry and shows how the ancient builders cut their monuments from solid rock.

After the visits, head back to the ship for lunch, then relax as it cruises along the Nile. Dinner is served on board in the evening.

If you wish, start the day with an optional excursion to the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, travelling by plane or by road, to stand before the colossal statues of Ramses II. Upon landing in Cairo, one of our team members will greet you and drive you to your hotel in Giza.
